Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Commitment

We built this extension for developers, by developers. We believe your code and your session data are yours alone. We have designed this tool to be 100% transparent and privacy-focused.

🔒 No Cloud Storage
🙅‍♂️ Zero Data Sale
💻 100% Local

How We Use Sensitive Permissions

To provide essential developer tools, the extension requires access to specific Chrome permissions. Here is exactly why we need them:

🍪
Cookies & Host Permissions Required solely to retrieve your active session token from Lovable.dev. This allows you to download your own projects securely. We never store these cookies; they are used only for authentication with Lovable's API as you perform actions.
📋
Clipboard Access This enables the "Clipboard History" feature. We monitor code snippets you copy while on Lovable.dev so you can access them later in the extension popup. This data never leaves your computer.
📁
Downloads API Necessary to trigger the browser's download manager when you want to save a project as a ZIP file to your local drive.

Data Collection and Security

Lovable Code Downloader does not collect any personally identifiable information. Any data stored (like your deployment settings or clipboard history) is kept strictly within your browser's local storage.

We do not use any tracking pixels, analytics services, or third-party cookies that monitor your behavior across other websites.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party communications made by this extension are to:

  • Lovable.dev / Lovable-api.com: To fetch your project code.
  • Vercel API: To deploy your projects if you choose to use the Vercel Integration feature.
